UnitOps

FAQ

Straight answers before you move facility data.

UnitOps is self-service software for independent self-storage operators. These answers describe what the product does today.

How long does migration take?

It depends on the source data. UnitOps starts with a dry-run import: upload exports from the current PMS, review the detected records, resolve blockers, and see the rollback plan before committing records to the live facility.

Can I see my own data in UnitOps before committing?

Yes. Sign up free, upload your export, and browse your facility in UnitOps in minutes — your tenants, units, leases, and balances in a read-only preview. Commit only when ready. Previews auto-delete in 14 days: a daily sweep hard-deletes the preview records and your uploaded files, and we email you 3 days before expiry.

What happens to my data if I leave?

Full CSV export is available anytime, with no export fee. Tenant rows export from the Tenants screen, report CSVs export from Reports, and API keys expose read-only facility, account, lease, ledger, and KPI data for operators who want to pull their own archive.

Which gate systems does UnitOps support?

Facilities can select PTI StorLogix Cloud, PTI DAT bridge, DoorKing bridge, Janus Noke, or OpenTech INSOMNIAC. DoorKing and PTI DAT run through the operator-side bridge; cloud systems use signed webhooks and stored facility credentials.

Which payment processors does UnitOps support?

Bring your own Stripe, Authorize.Net, NMI, or CardConnect account. UnitOps stores operator-owned credentials and vaulted payment references; it does not become your merchant account or take a processor spread.

What does it cost?

Founding operators get their first year free, then 50% off for life. It's per unit and nothing else — no cut of your payments, insurance, listings, or data. No card to start.

How does support work?

Support is email-based and answered within one business day. Support work stays tied to the signed-in operator account so facility data, audit history, and exports stay in the right organization.
